The spirituality of “Alpe ZenTa”
“Zenta” in patois, the Aosta Valley dialect, means “Beautiful”. Coincidence (assuming it exists!) He wants this word to be formed from the suffixes “Zen” and “Ta” (one o is missing to get to Tao…), two ancient Eastern philosophies that strongly believe in human life in harmony with nature…

“Zen” could literally be translated as “vision,” and we like to interpret it as an attitude of enjoying the present moment, freeing oneself from the distractions of the material world and becoming part of the natural world. “Tao” can literally be translated as “Way,” the universal principle of all things, the spontaneous manner of being and acting of the universe—an indeterminate entity that represents the continuous transformation of nature and its alternation between positive and negative phases.
Alpe Zenta°, therefore, is not only a place for leisure, fun, and relaxation, but also an ideal ground for bringing together people, cultures, and energies. Good food, pure air, and crystal-clear water help the body feel better, while nature and the authentic mountain allow the spirit to be nourished by the finest energies available on earth.
This is the starting point for a project that aims to explore—while giving them the respect they deserve—the mysteries of the authentic mountain, enabling people to work and live in these places in harmony.
