Ilenia and Daniele were the managers of the Cr\u00eate S\u00e8che Refuge (2410m above sea level) for more than 10 years
After living all their summers up there they decided to renovate their grandfather’s house a little lower down to try to recreate that particular atmosphere that you experience in the refuge also in Alpe Rebelle.
Ilenia, after several years of competitive skiing, becomes a ski instructor in Valtournenche. <\/p>\n

Now she dedicates her time not only to passions and work but also to being a mother!
Daniele is a great fan of mountain sports, such as hiking, mountaineering, climbing, ski mountaineering, and ice falls. He was on the national luge team for 8 years, winning the European Championships and a silver medal at the World Championships. He taught for a few years at nursery school and primary school. From 2002 to 2013 he worked on the ski slopes in Valtournenche, first in the Rescue team and then as Track Director and Rescue Manager.
He has opened several climbing routes, both traditional and on bolts, in the Cr\u00eate S\u00e8che area. For several years he has had two donkeys that he uses mainly to transport food to the refuge and on some occasions to accompany hikers on the trails of Valpelline. His passion for the mountains and in particular for Bionaz (his mother’s hometown) has led him to frequent the paths and mountains of this valley for several years. Since 2012, he has been co-founder and President of the NaturaValp Association for the development and promotion of responsible tourism in Valpelline. <\/p>\n
